Who doesn’t love a Puffin??

These images were captured on Skomer Island, just as the breeding season began to quieten in late June.

Puffins swept in from the sea with beaks brimming with sand eels, slicing through the air like small black arrows. They hurried across the grass and disappeared into their burrows, knowing that even a moment’s hesitation would draw the sharp eyes of waiting gulls—ever ready to steal a hard‑won meal.
